Refuting Calvinism - Part 1

- The Book Of Life (HD)

Dear John, Calvin (HQ)

Ten questions for Calvinism.

It is important to know that I believe that Calvinists are still brothers and sisters in Christ. This is not an angry attack on individuals but a direct questioning of the theology itself, how it is extraordinarily contradictory and makes God the author of every evil and sin.

In response to your comment at http://connect.tangle.com/view_video?viewkey=016f40c7fefe381e9c52 in which you wrote...

A God that creates some men for damnation, without any possibility of salvation, is a sadistic monster.

I reply...

How come the POSSIBILITY of salvation is so important to you? If you knew how much MAN hates God (every man that is) unless they are given a new heart then, you would realize that offering an unregenerate man salvation is a lot like offering a person a pile of manure to eat for his dinner. The holy things of God (including life eternal with Him as an object of worship) are no more appealing to a rebel human than a pile of crap to eat.

But the miracle, David, is that God changes the heart of men so that the same thing that once appeared as manure now looks like your favorite pizza (assuming you like pizza). And you cannot wait to devour it while all your friends still see a pile of crap and wonder what has gotten into you that you treat it like a delicacy instead of excrement. And as you eat it they are grossed out to the extreme by watching you do it. That is how the unregenerate look at the regenerate folks (real Christians) wasting life doing gross things like worshiping Jesus Christ.

A God who merely offers salvation without the power to make it so, would sure be fortunate if anyone chooses him. Such a god that hasn't the power to change a man's heart without man's help/agreement is NOT A TRUE GOD and is NOT FIT to be worshiped as being in control for such a god has given up his will to the will of the creature. I would spit in such a god's face and dare him to have the backbone to punish me. This god is wimpy and sentimental to a fault. However, the odd thing is that many of you freewillers out there want a god that offers a loving relationship to everyone and believe some people accept it and become born-again through the act of acceptance. And you also want a God who does not force (or with threat of pain coerce) anyone into a relationship. For you folks compare such a god to a divine rapist (who forces people to be intimate with them against their will). But the analogy of a rapist backfires on you folks! How, you ask? Well, when a rapist forces sex he does so by threat of harm to the victim. The truth of the matter is that if the intended victim resists too much, then the rapist threatens the victim with death or great physical harm to the degree that the victim "consents" or "stops resisting" and "allows" the rapist to perform his will of intercourse on them. This is EXACTLY the god you may be preaching to the lost! If you preach a God who offers salvation along with a threat of HELL to those who reject his love, then you STILL HAVE A DIVINE rapist!

You had better re-think and repent! My GOD is real! And He is tired of playing games with sinners like yourself!
